Garlic Expressions is a single-product brand built on its signature vinaigrette, with nationwide retail distribution and no direct-to-consumer operation at all. For years, the company let distributors and resellers handle Amazon. The result was fragmented listings, inconsistent branding and revenue leaking to sellers the brand did not control.
The challenge
Dozens of unauthorised reseller listings had diluted the brand's presence. There was no unified content and no real control over the product pages customers actually saw. Reviews were scattered across duplicate listings rather than accumulating on one, which suppressed visibility in search. And there was no internal Amazon expertise to fix any of it.
What we did
ExpertCPG deployed Total Account Management to take the channel back. The team merged over a dozen duplicate listings into a single master variation, so reviews and sales history consolidated instead of competing with each other. We guided Garlic Expressions to sell directly through Seller Central, which let the brand outprice the resellers rather than argue with them.
Disjointed content was replaced with high-quality visuals, Premium A+ content and a unified Brand Story. Much of the work was persistence: navigating Amazon Seller Support repeatedly to make sure listing merges and content updates actually held, which is the part most brands give up on.
The outcome
Reseller presence fell by more than 80 percent. The review footprint grew from 242, spread across listings, to nearly 5,000 combined on one. And the product rose from the #19 to the #1 ranked vinaigrette on Amazon.
Garlic Expressions did not just tidy up its Amazon presence — it took back control of it. Every element, from imagery to pricing, now reinforces the brand rather than working against it.
